AIRASIA rewards, the loyalty ecosystem of Capital A, has introduced the “Points Booking” feature. This feature provides a dedicated seat allocation for members to redeem flights on eligible AirAsia routes, available for booking at least 30 days prior to departure. This new feature offers added value and greater certainty for members planning their travels using AirAsia points.
To celebrate the launch, AirAsia rewards members have the opportunity to receive a 50% pointsback on every eligible flight redemption made through September 30, 2026.
Through Points Booking, members can redeem points for AirAsia flights to various domestic and international destinations while enjoying enhanced benefits. The redemption value covers the base fare, taxes, and other applicable fees.
For example, flights between Jakarta and Bandar Lampung start from 12,000 AirAsia points (an all-in fare—including taxes and fees—valued at IDR 525,000), while flights between Jakarta and Brunei can be redeemed starting from 19,000 AirAsia points (an all-in fare—including taxes and fees—valued at IDR830,000).

With the availability of dedicated seat allocations through Points Booking, members can now enjoy greater value and certainty when planning their travels.
“We are thrilled to introduce a 50% points-back promotion running until September 30 as part of this launch, giving members a fantastic opportunity to maximize their AirAsia points. For instance, a Jakarta-Bandar Lampung flight requires 12,000 AirAsia points, and members will receive 6,000 points back after the campaign concludes,” she said.

The Points Booking feature is accessible via the AirAsia MOVE app. Members need a minimum balance of just 500 AirAsia points to redeem eligible flights. Payments can be made entirely or partially using points, with any remaining balance settled using a valid credit card.
