VACATIONS TO BALI ARE MORE SECURE WITH CHSE-BASED HEALTH PROTOCOLS

ONE of the main requirements for staying safe during the COVID-19 pandemic is the application of strict Cleanliness, Health, Safety, and Environmental Sustainability (CHSE)-based health protocols in tourist destinations.

Because with a strict CHSE-based health protocol in tourist destinations, the safety and comfort of tourists will be guaranteed. So that tourists and tourism players can both feel the benefits.

Recently, the Minister of Tourism and the creative economy/Head of the Tourism and Creative Economy Agency, Sandiaga Uno, appreciated the implementation of the CHSE-based health protocol in the tourist destination of Alas Harum, Ubud, Gianyar Regency, Bali.

During his visit to Alas Harum, Minister Sandiaga said the tourist destination, which is equipped with restaurants and luwak (civet) coffee production centers, was considered successful in implementing the CHSE protocol in a strict and disciplined manner.

“This COVID-19 forces us to continue to innovate and I saw earlier that Alas Harum has built several additional services, this is a form of our adaptation. I also appreciate the implementation of strict and disciplined health protocols here because we need to prepare ourselves for several big agendas that in Bali,” said Minister Sandiaga, at the end of May 2021.

Not only that, Sandiaga Uno also encouraged Ubud to become a work from gallery destination as part of the Work From Bali (WFB) program.

“So later, spots will be prepared in galleries and museums scattered throughout Bali to provide for colleagues who have decided to return to their activities in the midst of very beautiful nature surrounded by artifacts, paintings. , as well as world-class craft products. We hope that this work from gallery will be an option for colleagues who will start working from Bali in the third quarter of 2021,” he stated.

Sandiaga explained that this discourse is a form of government alignment, in this case the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, to mobilize and revive the tourism and creative economy sectors on the Island of the Gods. With the CHSE-based health protocols that has been implemented in all destinations in Bali, the safety of tourists will clearly be guaranteed.

But that doesn’t mean that the discipline to always apply 3M’s standard procedures (wearing masks, keeping distance, and washing hands with soap) is neglected.
