STATE-Owned Enterprises Minister Erick Thohir presents a Mobile PCR test laboratory in order to improve 3T (Testing, Tracing, Treatment) as an effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in Indonesia.
“Therefore, we are back now, even though we are only present in three provinces with the Mobile Laboratory for the BSL-2 PCR test,” Erick said as quoted on the official Instagram account of the Ministry of SOEs in Jakarta, Wednesday (6/16).
According to Erick, the 3T efforts are as important as the 3M health protocol discipline movement, Wearing Masks Correctly, Maintaining Distance, and Washing Hands with soapy water or hand sanitizer in order to suppress the spread of COVID-19 in Indonesia.
“No less important is the 3T, this 3T effort which I feel with all due respect is also impossible for us to succeed without the help of the local government and of course the people in their respective cities,” he said.
The State-Owned Enterprises Minister also reminded all parties and the public to continue to improve two things, namely the discipline of 3M health protocols and 3T efforts in suppressing the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic that has occurred in Indonesia since early March 2020 has yet to show a decline. The trend of increasing the number of confirmed COVID-19 patients after the Eid holiday in 2021 has actually caused new concerns amid the limitations of health facilities for special handling of COVID-19.
“In the early stages of the operation of the Mobile Lab PCR, it will be implemented in 3 locations, namely Baiturrahim Jambi Hospital, Sri Pamela Medika Nusantara Hospital in Medan, and Jakarta Harbor Hospital. Furthermore, operations will be developed in 9 new locations, namely 1 in Jakarta, 1 in Banten, 2 in East Java, 1 in Bali, 1 in Central Java, 1 in Kalimantan, 1 in Papua, 1 in Sulawesi, bringing the total to 12 units of Mobile Lab PCR,” said the President Director of Pertamedika IHC Fathema Djan Rachmat.

This PCR Mobile Lab is the result of the synergy of the SOE Pertamina Group between PT Pertamina Bina Medika IHC and PT Pratama Mitra Sejati which is a subsidiary of PT Asuransi Tugu Pratama Indonesia.
Mobile Lab PCR is an innovation in developing health services that aims to provide services in needed locations such as offices, mining, plantations, and others so that consumers or patients do not need to come to the hospital.
