ALTHOUGH the COVID-19 pandemic has no signs of ending, Macau has been promoting its tourist destination. In particular, introducing Macau new tourism destinations and culinary for Indonesian tourists.
For implementation of tourism promotion, Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) Indonesia this time in collaboration with TTC Indonesia, was held virtually meeting on 28 June 2021 by inviting several travel agents and medias. Currently the name Macau, a city located 70 km southwest of Hong Kong, has become one of the country’s destinations that must be visited by Indonesia’s travelers.
“A city famous for its sparkling night. Now, the area with the status of a Special Administrative Region has tourism progress that continues to grow. In fact, this city is dubbed as one of the most developed cities in Asia because the mix of cultures between East and West makes Macau have a very unique culture for tourists to know,” said Sella Utami, MGTO Indonesia representative office.
She explained that various industries thrive in Macau. The most striking is the tourism sector.
