GARUDA HAS CANCELED FLIGHTS TO GORONTALO DURING EMERGENCY PPKM

GARUDA Indonesia has canceled flights on the Gorontalo-Makassar-Jakarta route or vice versa. Canceled from 5-20 July, because it follows the rules of Emergency implementation restrictions on community activities (PPKM).

According to the General Manager of the Garuda Indonesia Gorontalo Branch Office, Oktavianus Tampi, he said we canceled from July 5-20, because we followed Emergency PPKM rules.

Besides Garuda Indonesia, another airline that canceled all flights until July 20 was Lion Air. Previously, the cancellation was made because it was found that 65 Djalaluddin Airport officers were positive for COVID-19.

In addition, the Governor of Gorontalo, Rusli Habibie, issued Circular Letter Number 360 concerning Provisions for Domestic Travelers during the pandemic.

Likewise, the Head BPBD of Gorontalo Province, Rusli Nusi, explained that the circular contained regulations regarding the obligation to show vaccination cards for sea travelers.

“If the results of the Rapid Test (RT)-PCR/RT Antigen of the traveler are negative but show symptoms as evidenced by cough, flu, and fever, then the traveler is not allowed to continue the trip and is required to carry out RT-Antigen/RT-PCR diagnosis and self-isolate during the waiting time. examination results,” he said.

All travelers arriving in Gorontalo Province either by air or by sea who show symptoms of cough, flu and fever are required to undergo an antigen test upon arrival. Travelers who are positive through the antigen test will proceed to RT-PCR and are required to isolate while waiting for the results.

Regarding travelers with special interests who are not/not vaccinated for medical reasons based on information from specialist doctors, they can still travel. The condition is that you must show a negative RT-PCR result whose sample is taken a maximum of 2 × 24 hours before departure, or an antigen test result is a maximum of 1 × 24 hours.

The COVID-19 Task Force also reminded that all forms of falsification of RT-PCR results and antigen tests used as travel requirements for people will be subject to sanctions in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations. [antaranews]
