KEEPING FLIGHT DEMAND, CITILINK CONTINUES TO INNOVATE IN OPPORTUNITIES

CITILINK seeks to maintain the level of demand for passenger flights during the Implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) by being observant and innovative in creating opportunities.

According to Citilink’s Director of Commerce, Benny Rustanto, he still supports the rules or requirements for airline passengers that have been set by the government during the PPKM extension period until August 16, 2021.

“We always hope and support any form of government requirements. With that, we always innovate and adapt so that the demand for flying will always increase, especially the aviation industry,” said Benny.

He said that currently Citilink has provided free PCR or Antigen test services to passengers with special flight schedules for the period from August 13 to September 30, 2021.

Benny added that the airline provides a free PCR test facility program for passengers which is valid in several cities in Indonesia. This free PCR test facility is presented as a solution for passengers to be able to travel safely and comfortably.

“Currently, passengers traveling by plane are increasingly difficult and expensive. We are trying to make things easier,” he said

In the provisions stipulated in the SE Task Force No. 17/2021 in accordance with InMendagri No. 30/2021 that mobility in the Java-Bali district/city level with destinations and departures still within the Java-Bali area is regulated regardless of leveling or is uniform for all regions.

First, for arrivals from Outside Java-Bali/departures from Java-Bali to Outside Java-Bali, according to InMendagri No. 30/2021 requires a minimum dose of 1 vaccine card. Air travelers must perform a 2×24 hour RT-PCR test and other modes of 2×24 hour RT-PCR test or 1×24 hour Antigen.

Then for intercity/district travel within Java-Bali, it requires people who have received a complete dose of vaccine as evidenced by a vaccine card, for air travel only need an antigen test 1×24 hours. Meanwhile, recipients of the first dose of vaccine, for travel by air, are required to carry out 2×24 hour RT-PCR. [sources/photo special]
