STATE-Owned Enterprises Minister, Erick Thohir ensures that he will continue to be enthusiastic in supporting Indonesian Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) products so that they can become hosts in their own country.
“I will make sure and continue to be enthusiastic about supporting Indonesian MSME products,” said Erick Thohir as quoted from his official Instagram account @erickthohir in Jakarta, Wednesday (8/25).
The SOE minister also invited netizens to help share or share videos of himself reviewing Indonesian MSME products that were uploaded on his social media channels.
“Help also share with family and relatives so that products made in Indonesia, brands made in Indonesia can become hosts in this country. God willing, pray for me to always be istiqomah in supporting MSMEs in Indonesia. Don’t get tired of seeing me reviewing local products,” he added.
SOE Minister Erick Thohir often reviews local MSME products on his social media channels, ranging from shoes, perfumes to local MSME culinary delights such as soto, fried rice and Klathak satay.
Erick Thohir also always makes working visits to review ultra-micro and MSME business actors in areas such as mothers of customers of Fostering a Prosperous Family Economy (Mekaar) and the Micro Capital Service Unit (ULaMM) of PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (Persero) or PNM.
Previously, Minister Erick Thohir said the BUMN program related to job creation and new entrepreneurs at the lower level was carried out in order to help the community and MSME players.
Erick Thohir pointed out that the Indonesian economy must continue to be balanced, there are several programs that he continues to oversee to ensure and monitor their implementation over the past few months, because the impact of COVID-19 has made job creation very difficult.
According to Erick, the Fostering a Prosperous Family Economy (Mekaar) program from PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (Persero) or PNM is very helpful for people at the lower levels who are currently very difficult to find work. [antaranews]
