AIRASIA Indonesia announced that the temporary suspension of scheduled flight services was extended until September 30, 2021 to support the efforts of the government of the Republic of Indonesia in controlling the COVID-19 situation in the country which is still volatile.
AirAsia remains committed to serving regular, charter and cargo flights for repatriation, delivery of goods or other essential purposes by implementing strict health and safety protocols.
“AirAsia will continue to evaluate the development of the situation and is ready to re-open its scheduled flight services at any time,” AirAsia said in its official broadcast, Friday (9/3).
Consumers who wish to change their flight during this period are advised to convert their purchase into a credit account for the next ticket purchase which is valid for up to 730 days (2 years) or change the flight schedule to another date which can be done indefinitely and at no additional cost until 30 November 2021.
