THE INDONESIA’S Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy will continue to socialize the understanding, use, and use of the PeduliLindungi application to be expanded in hotels, restaurants and cafes.
According to the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno at a weekly meeting with the media virtually, in Jakarta, Monday (9/6) said yesterday’s example that had gone viral in Holywings (Kemang), a place that does not implement health protocols will be taken firmly and given socialization of the use of the QR Code, because the results of the temporary monitoring show that the QR is not being used properly.
“By making Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang and Surabaya, as piloting Tourism Ministry together with the relevant Ministries/Institutions will use filtering for the four user conditions in PeduliLindungi by using color codes, namely green, yellow, red and black,” said the Minister Sandiaga Uno.
He explained that previously, the black color code had not been found in the application. Currently, the color is added for those who have not been vaccinated, are still active, and are indicated to be in close contact with COVID-19.
“As of today, those who are allowed to enter are green and yellow, while red and black will certainly be treated so that they become green and yellow color codes,” he stated.
Sandiaga explained that the Tourism Ministry and the Directorate General of Domestic Trade will issue a joint circular regarding the call to use the PeduliLindungi application in stages according to coordination across ministries/agencies.
“The use of this application is said to touch the implementation of Meeting, Incentive, Convention and Exhibition (MICE) in hotels as well as several other tourism and creative economic activities,” he concluded. [traveltext.id]
