Realizing this, TTC Indonesia, an independent travel mart organizer seeks to bridge between buyers and sellers to return to business in the digital space by adopting 100% virtual, attractively packaged, and not often encountered before.
According to Kidung Pascalis, Project Manager of TTC Indonesia, said after previously being held semi-virtually TTC Travel Mart, in the 4th quarter of this year, TTC Travelmart is made 100% virtual and participants are exclusively curated. The same applies to buyers who are brought into the room online.
TTC Travelmart Virtual which took place on Monday (11/1) presented 23 exclusive sellers from various countries such as India, Australia, Paris, Dubai and several other countries, and brought in 160 buyers from various regions in Indonesia.
“These exclusive sellers are those who have been following TTC Travel Mart for more than 20 years. Then the buyers we present are handpicked or appropriate buyers,” said Kidung from his office in Omah TTC, Jakarta, (11/1).
Kidung added that this Virtual TTC Travel Mart is an offering by TTC Indonesia as a thank you to sellers and buyers who have brought revenue for TTC Indonesia.
“For the past two years, both their sellers and buyers have been unable to do business. This is the right way for TTC Indonesia to try to bridge them so that they can do business again virtually and exclusively,” Kidung noted.
Using the Ghater Town Platform
TTC Indonesia dares to present innovation by using different platforms and not many have used it in organizing tourism exchange events so far. The adopted platform is called Ghater Town.
This platform is believed to bring the dignity of every TTC Travel Mart event that has always been casual, flexible and independent. Gather Town itself is an online platform from America that can combine video calls with 2D maps and allows users to talk to other people and walk around the room.
“We will do our best to create a table top atmosphere which is usually done offline. Considering that TTC Travel Mart is synonymous with relaxed and exciting events,” he added.
In online roars, buyers can communicate directly with sellers. Even direct business. Buyers can also download brochures and or other e-catalogs provided by the seller.
On this platform, both buyers and sellers can travel, free apoinment, chat, more interactive and gimmick ivation, so that the participants are more comfortable and the numbers from the beginning to the end of the event tend to be stable.
“At the beginning to the end of the first session, the number of 80 participants who attended did not drop, and all of them were in the room. They find there is a new nuance compared to the previous platform that has been used by many people,” he explained.
