INDONESIA’S Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy encourages tourism business players affected by the COVID-19 pandemic to take advantage of and enroll in the Government Assistance for Tourism Business (BPUP) program in 2021.
This year, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno said that the BPUP fund was given at IDR1.8 million per tourism business.
“We appreciate tourism business actors who have registered for BPUP. Let’s invite business friends who have not registered but meet the requirements to immediately register their businesses in the 2021 BPUP program,” he said in a press statement, Jakarta, Thursday (11/18).
This program is said to be part of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy’s alignment to provide targeted, appropriate, and timely stimulus assistance in an effort to create the widest possible employment opportunities. As well as increasing economic growth and community welfare.
BPUP 2021 is one of the government assistances provided to small and medium scale tourism businesses registered with the Online Single Submission (OSS) or the Electronically Integrated Business Licensing System of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) in 2018-2020.
This assistance is given to 6 types of businesses, namely travel agents, travel agencies, spas, budget hotels, homestays, and the provision of other accommodations.
Registration has been opened from 15 November 2021 and closed on 26 November 2021 at 23.59 WIB. Business players are said to be able to register their business through the https://bpup.kemenparekraf.go.id/ page.
The documents required to register include the Business Identification Number (NIB), Identity Card (KTP) of the Business Person (company owner), Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) on behalf of the Business Entity, then the Annual Tax Return (SPT). over the past year.
Next is a letter of application to the district/city office in charge of tourism whose format is found on the BPUP website, a Statement of Absolute Responsibility (SPTJM) the validity of the data submitted and signed with a stamp duty of IDR10,000, Deed of Establishment, Articles of Association and the latest amendments (AD/ART), and Power of Attorney to appoint account management.
