MINISTRY of Tourism and Creative Economy is ready to support the Central Java provincial government in developing human resources (HR) for the culinary sector.
According to Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno said we appreciate the programs that are carried out by the Central Java provincial government in developing the tourism and creative economy ecosystem, especially in increasing the capacity of human resources.
“The ministry has six tourism polytechnics (PTNP) that produce quality human resources every year, and not a few of the graduates are sought by industries abroad,” he said.
He explained that gradually, PTNP can maximize its capabilities to present programs that support the development of HR in Central Java. Indeed, the graduates of tourism vocational high school need more encouragement to be hired in the industry.
“The ministry will create a travel route that can push more tourists to visit Central Java. Earlier, Rembang district in Central Java, which specializes in Batik Lasem, was designated by the ministry as one of the creative districts in the kriya (handicraft) sub-sector,” he remarked.
Sandiaga continued that we are planning to activate the creative district where heritage travel pattern to Rembang (can be realized). [traveltext.id/photo special]
