“They also do not need to undergo pre-permit procedures,” the Immigration Department of Vietnam said in a statement, citing the Bangkok Post, Sunday (1/30).
Meanwhile, foreign tourists who want to visit Vietnam are still limited by special tourism conditions set by the government. The condition is that starting January 1, 2022, foreign tourists who come from abroad must be fully vaccinated or have evidence that states that they have recovered from COVID-19.
Then, they must undergo a COVID-19-free test before flying, quarantine for three days at home or at a hotel, and take a PCR test. Foreign tourists who test negative are asked to closely monitor their health for two weeks.
For foreigners who wish to enter Vietnam for business or family reasons, but do not have certain documents, they must still seek approval from government officials.
