SINGAPORE AIRLINES GROUP EXPANDS VACCINATED TRAVEL LANE NETWORK

THE Singapore Airlines (SIA) Group will further expand its Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) network in the coming weeks, bringing it to a total of 66 cities in 27 countries. SIA will progressively include Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Da Nang, Denpasar (Bali), Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, and Penang to its VTL network from 16 March 2022.

In addition, SIA will progressively convert more non VTL-flights to VTL flights in existing VTL destinations. These include Chennai, Delhi, and Mumbai from 17 March, as well as Bangkok, London, Male, Phnom Penh, and Siem Reap from April onwards.

Scoot, SIA’s low-cost subsidiary, will progressively include Amritsar, Athens, Coimbatore, Hanoi, Hat Yai, Ho Chi Minh City, Manila, Penang, Tiruchirappalli, Trivandrum, and Visakhapatnam to its VTL network.

“The Singapore Airlines Group welcomes the latest expansion of Singapore’s VTL arrangements, which will provide greater travel options and flexibility for our customers. Ahmedabad-Singapore (operated by SIA)
SIA operates once a week between Singapore and Ahmedabad. From 15 March 2022, SQ505 will operate as the designated VTL flight from Ahmedabad to Singapore; and will increase to three-times weekly services from 27 March 2022. SIA will operate the Airbus A350-900 aircraft on this service.

Amritsar-Singapore (operated by Scoot)
Scoot operates three-times weekly services between Singapore and Amritsar. From 16 March 2022, TR509 will operate as the designated VTL flight from Amritsar to Singapore. Scoot will operate the Boeing 787-8 aircraft on this service.

Athens-Singapore (operated by Scoot)
Scoot operates four-times weekly services between Singapore and Athens. From 15 March 2022, TR723 will operate as the designated VTL flight from Athens to Singapore. Scoot will operate the Boeing 787-8 aircraft on this service.

Bengaluru-Singapore (operated by SIA)
SIA operates a daily service between Singapore and Bengaluru. From 15 March 2022, SQ511 will operate as the designated VTL flight from Bengaluru to Singapore. SIA will operate the Airbus A350-900 aircraft on this service.

Coimbatore-Singapore (operated by Scoot)
Scoot operates three-times weekly services between Singapore and Coimbatore. From 16 March 2022, TR541 will operate as the designated VTL flight from Coimbatore to Singapore. Scoot will operate the Airbus A320neo aircraft on this service.

Da Nang-Singapore (operated by SIA)
From 27 March 2022, SIA will operate daily services between Singapore and Da Nang. SQ171 and SQ173 will operate as the designated VTL flights from Da Nang to Singapore. SIA will operate the Boeing 737-800 aircraft on this service.

Denpasar (Bali)-Singapore (operated by SIA)
SIA operates daily services between Singapore and Denpasar (Bali). Starting from 16 March 2022, SQ939 and SQ945 will operate as the designated VTL flights from Denpasar (Bali) to Singapore. From 1 July 2022, SQ939 will increase its flight frequency from four[1]times a week to daily flights. SIA will operate the Boeing 787-10 aircraft on this service. [traveltext.id]
