PPKM JAVA-BALI EXTENDED, PCR & ANTIGEN TESTS REMOVED FOR ACTIVITIES

THE INDONESIAN government through the Ministry of Home Affairs has officially determined the extension of the implementation of the Java-Bali community activity restrictions (PPKM) on 10-23 May 2022 or for the next two weeks. In this extension, the rules regarding the abolition of the requirements for swab test results for antigen and PCR were emphasized for a number of activities.

“In the extension of the Java-Bali PPKM, regulations regarding the requirement to show negative PCR results and antigens for several activities are abolished. For example, for the implementation of sports competitions, both for all players, officials, media crews, support staff, to all spectators,” said Syafrizal in a press release on Tuesday (5/10).

However, Syafrizal emphasized, all individuals involved in the activity are still required to get a minimum of a second dose of vaccination.

In addition to removing the requirements for antigen and PCR, the extension of the PPKM this time also allows the operation of restaurants/restaurants until 02.00 in the morning.

“Specifically for the Java-Bali PPKM arrangements, adjustments are also made to the operating hours of restaurants/restaurants that start operating at night to be open until 02.00, with a visitor capacity of 75% for areas with PPKM level 2. regions with PPKM level 1,” Syafrizal noted.

He also added that this capacity also applies to wedding reception activities, but with the condition that there is no eating on the spot.

“In the extension of the Java-Bali PPKM this time, the number of regions at level 1 decreased, from the previous 29 regions to 11 regions. Likewise, the number of level 3 regions has been reduced from 2 regions to 1 region. On the other hand, the number of level 2 regions increased from 97 regions to 116 regions,” he concluded.
