PT GARUDA Indonesia Tbk continues to strive to return to healthy financial fundamentals. One of them is by optimizing expenses and increasing flight traffic.
The latest, January 17, 2023, the outstanding value of EBA Mandiri Garuda Indonesia reached IDR935.32 billion. Referring to the disclosure of information, the payment period for this obligation was extended to December 31, 2032.
According to Garuda Indonesia CEO Irfan Setiaputra, said the company will continue to apply a cost leadership approach in managing its operating expenses. This effort is made to maximize our commitment in fulfilling business obligations to all creditors. One of them is through the availability of sinking funds.
“Through the availability of a proportional sinking fund referring to the Peace Agreement that has received a homologation decision,” Irfan said recently.
Especially for this year, he continued, Garuda Indonesia will focus on optimizing the profitability aspect. One of them is by expanding the flight network, including Jakarta and Bali. This is expected to encourage an increase in domestic flight traffic and international inbound flights. In line with that, Garuda Indonesia hopes that the production equipment run will increase.
