SWISS-Belhotel International is opening three new hotels throughout 2023. One of them, Swiss-Belinn Timika, was opened in early March 2023. The other two hotels are Swiss-Belhotel Airport Yogyakarta (166 rooms) and Swiss-Belcourt Lombok (137 rooms). Both are planned to open in the second quarter of 2023.
According to Swiss-Belhotel International Senior Vice President of Operations and Development for Indonesia, Emmanuel Guillard from his written statement, Wednesday (05/04), 2023 said it was an honor for us to be part of tourism development and investment in Indonesia.
“We strive to provide international standard accommodation and facilities, especially in areas where business and tourism are growing. Opening a hotel near Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA) is done because we see great potential in terms of tourism and business,” he said.
He explained, moreover, the distance from the airport to the city takes about 1.5-2 hours. Thus, providing hotels in the airport area is seen as an opportunity.
Meanwhile, Swiss-Belcourt Lombok is Swiss-Belhotel International’s first property in Lombok. The location of the hotel was chosen because it is quite close to the airport and city center, as well as popular tourist attractions.
