FOR THOSE of you who often travel to Bandung from Jakarta, now you can take the fast train which only takes approximately 40 minutes. So, how much is a fast train ticket from Jakarta to Bandung?
Currently, the government is still reviewing ticket pricing for the Jakarta-Bandung Fast Train (KCJB). Later the price of feeder train tickets connecting to the city of Bandung from Jakarta will be sold using a bundling system, including with the Jabodebek LRT (Jakarta-Bogor-Depok-Bekasi light trail train).
The KCJB ticket price proposed by the operator, namely PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia-China (KCIC), is IDR250,000, the cheapest, but this does not include the price of the feeder train ticket from Padalarang to Bandung City. Later from Jakarta-Bandung the cheapest ticket price will be proposed at IDR300,000.
“That’s what’s important is that we give a premium-economy of IDR250,000, yes, later bundling it with LRT and Feeder at IDR300,000 later,” said Dwiyana at KCJB Halim Station, Wednesday (9/13), 2023.
He explained that the First Class and Dynamic Class classes are different. The amount, KCIC is still calculating first. For First Class and Dynamic Class, we use dynamic pricing because the segments are different.
The IDR300,000 proposal, continued Dwiyana, is still in discussions with PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero), the operator of the Jabodebek Feeder Train and LRT.
For your information, KCJB has four stations, namely Halim Station, Karawang Station, Padalarang Station, and Tegalluar Station. Meanwhile, to reach the city of Bandung, high-speed train passengers must get off at Padalarang station, then the journey continues with the feeder train provided. [sources/photo special]
