MINISTER of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno appreciated the presence of Hotel Tentrem Jakarta in Alam Sutera, South Tangerang, as a new hotel that is expected to showcase the best of Indonesian hospitality.
Speaking at the inauguration of Hotel Tentrem Jakarta in Alam Sutera, Sunday (07/14), 2024, Minister Sandiaga revealed that Hotel Tentrem Jakarta has an Indonesian concept in terms of interior and service.
“This is extraordinary because Hotel Tentrem shows Indonesian hospitality wrapped in a very Indonesian and contemporary design. I congratulate you; this shows that Indonesia has world-class hotels,” said Sandiaga.
Sandiaga explained that the presence of Hotel Tentrem in Jakarta could also attract foreign tourists to visit Indonesia, as well as investment in the tourism sector.
“This is the latest global trend in tourism, which is to become more customized, personalized, localized and smaller. So, with the concept of nationalism in hotels, I hope that Hotel Tentrem can be present to develop its business in the super priority destination areas that we have and if necessary, reach “so that it can promote the creation of new jobs, revitalize the community’s economy and improve welfare,” said Sandiaga.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of PT Praja Karalan Perdana/Management of Hotel Tentrem Jakarta, Karina Pikanto, expressed her gratitude to Minister Sandiaga for being present and inaugurating the hotel.
“Thank you very much to Minister Sandiaga Uno who was present to inaugurate this hotel. The hope is that with the presence of Hotel Tentrem Jakarta, I want to raise the name of Indonesia, which has a diverse culture and the characteristics contained in it, with a hotel brand so that it gives meaning to the community,” Karina Pikanto concluded.
