LION AIR will move its domestic flight departure and arrival operations to Terminal 1A at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Banten, effective Saturday (12/14), 2024. Previously, the airline’s domestic flight operations were located at Terminal 2E.
“This decision was taken to support improved service and more efficient operational management for the convenience of all customers and as part of efforts to support a more practical and enjoyable travel experience,” read the announcement from Lion Air’s official statement, reported Monday (12/09), 2024.
Meanwhile, Lion Air’s international flight operations will remain at Terminal 2E of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. Therefore, the airline urges prospective travelers to confirm the location of the terminal.
They should also check their itineraries and be aware of connecting flights. If the connecting flight is at a different terminal, allow enough time to change terminals, including the distance and security lines.
“If possible, choose a connecting flight schedule that allows more time between arrival and departure. This will help avoid rushing and maintain a comfortable journey,” reads a statement from Lion Air’s official website. [sources/photo special]
