KEMENEKRAF READY TO COOPERATE TO DEVELOP FASHION & BEAUTY INDUSTRY

THE MINISTRY of Creative Economy through the Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya said that the beauty industry has great potential in the creative economy aspect. One of them is aesthetic fashion, which is currently on the rise.

This was stated by Riefky when receiving an audience from Indonesia Fashion Aesthetic (IFA) at the Sapta Pesona Building, Jakarta on Tuesday, (01/21), 2025. He also expressed his willingness to work together to develop the creative industry in the fashion and beauty sectors.

“The beauty industry has great potential to become the backbone of Indonesia’s economy and create new jobs. We appreciate IFA’s efforts to promote aesthetic fashion, which is showing quite a good trend,” said Minister Riefky.

With the right support, this industry can grow rapidly and bring benefits to the Indonesian economy,” added Riefky, who was accompanied by Deputy Minister of Creative Economy, Irene Umar.

He also expressed his hope for the Indonesian beauty industry to enter the global market. Public support is certainly something that cannot be separated.

“We are ready to cooperate with Indonesia Fashion Aesthetics to support the development of the creative industry in Indonesia. We appreciate IFA’s efforts in developing aesthetic fashion and hope that this cooperation can bring Indonesia’s creative industry to the international market. We also hope to raise public awareness about the importance of supporting local products and the creative industry,” said he stated.

The audience itself was attended by IFA Chairperson Devya Linda and her staff. They very much welcomed the opportunity for cooperation that Minister of Creative Economy conveyed.

“Very positive, this is our impression of the willingness of the Ministry of Creative Economy to cooperate with Indonesia Fashion Aesthetics. We hope that this cooperation can bring the Indonesian fashion and aesthetics industry to the international market and strengthen Indonesia’s creative economy,” concluded one of the IFA team named Dyan Komalasary.
