A TOTAL of 17 creative economy (Ekraf) sub-sectors with promising opportunities ranging from fashion to intellectual property will not develop without legal certainty and clear regulations.
This was emphasized by the Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya, when he attended the Indonesian Advocates Congress (KAI) in Bandung.
“The creative economy is currently one of the main pillars of national economic growth. However, without clear regulations and legal certainty, creative industry players will face various obstacles both in terms of intellectual property rights protection, investment and business development,” he said at the IV KAI National Congress held in Bandung on Monday (02/10) 2025.
Minister Riefky emphasized that legal certainty is the most important factor for the development of the creative industry in Indonesia. According to him, a strong creative industry ecosystem must be supported by clear regulations and legal protection for industry players.
The IV KAI National Congress itself is expected to be a momentum for the government, business actors and stakeholders in the legal field. The parties are expected to work in synergy to create a legal ecosystem conducive to national economic growth. [traveltext.id]
