THE FAST-moving Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) is working with Japanese investors to complete the stages of cooperation related to the development of the best area in Mandalika, Lombok, namely the Tanjung Aan beach area, which is the beautiful area next to Nusa Dua beach.
According to ITDC Commercial Director, Troy Reza Warokka, collaboration with foreign and local investors is an important step for ITDC to jointly develop the Mandalika sports tourism area to be the best in Indonesia and provide a cool legacy for Indonesia to become more global in the world tourism industry.
“This cooperation means that the Mandalika Special Economic Zone will continue to grow as a sports tourism entertainment area as planned by the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises, Erick Thohir, including of course the growth of investments coming to Mandalika and the choice of ITDC as a partner for investors,” he said.
Troy Warokka explained that ITDC continues to move forward in carrying out real development activities, but also presents various activation programs that are able to present socio-cultural economic impact and workforce absorption.
“I thank the investors and the support of the stakeholders so that the good cooperation will continue to grow and have an impact on the progress of Indonesia and Mandalika,” he affirmed.
ITDC is part of InJourney, a state-owned holding company that manages integrated tourism destinations in The Nusa Dua (Bali), The Mandalika (NTB) and The Golo Mori (NTT). In this regard, Troy Warokka stated that ITDC is inviting local and international investors to invest in the destinations managed by ITDC, particularly The Mandalika and The Golo Mori.
Troy believes that it will be able to attract more tourist visits, both from within the country and from abroad.
