ARTOTEL Group (AG) officially reopened ARTOTEL Casa Hangtuah after a comprehensive renovation that began last January. The boutique property, located at Jalan Hang Tuah I No. 2 in South Jakarta, now has a more elegant and modern look, targeting the urban market segment seeking comfortable accommodations with a personal touch.
During the hotel’s opening press conference on Friday, (08/1), 2025, Yulia Maria, AG’s Corporate Marketing Communications Director, said that this transformation touches on more than just the visual aspects, such as the interior and dominant colors, which are now more tropical and greener. It also targets improvements in service and business strategy.
“The transformation of ARTOTEL Casa Hangtuah demonstrates our commitment to meeting the market’s need for stylish, serene, and artistic accommodations amidst a fast-paced city. Our renovations focus on refreshing the interior design and overall appearance of the property to create a fresher, more modern, and warmer atmosphere,” she said.
Yulia explained that with its fresh new look resulting from the renovation and its exceptional location, we believe that ARTOTEL Casa Hangtuah will become the destination of choice for businesspeople, young families, and the younger generation looking for a break from their routine without having to leave the city.
Meanwhile, Hassanudin, the General Manager of ARTOTEL Casa Hangtuah and ARTOTEL Casa Kuningan, said that this boutique hotel now features a service residence concept with 17 modern rooms in two types: Studio 36 and Studio 42.
“Each is designed to meet the needs of businesspeople and urban families looking for extended stays. The facilities have also been upgraded to include a gym, swimming pool, dining room (EATSPACE), and meeting room (MEETSPACE),” Hassanudin underlined.
He added that our goal is to rejuvenate and create a more elegant impression. We’re maximizing the initial strong design to improve quality. With this elegant concept and the addition of new facilities and services, we’re also raising the room rates.
“The transformation of ARTOTEL Casa Hangtuah demonstrates our commitment to meeting the market’s need for stylish, tranquil, and artistic accommodations. Now, this property stands as an urban sanctuary with a unique character and a homey feel, offering a comfort unlike that of conventional accommodations with butler service,” Hassanudin affirmed.
However, when both asked about the total cost of the eight-month renovation, neither Yulia nor Hassanudin could provide specifics, both only stating that the expenditure was substantial.
As part of the reopening, ARTOTEL Casa Hangtuah is offering an exclusive stay package that includes breakfast for two. More information and reservations can be found on the official website, artotelcasahangtuah.com, or on Instagram, @artotelcasahangtuah.” [traveltext.id]
