Aircraft traffic during the same period also exhibited growth. A total of 12,893 aircraft took off and landed at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, including 6,889 international flights and 6,004 domestic flights.

In terms of flight operations, 94,911 aircraft movements were recorded, comprising 52,069 international flights and 42,842 domestic flights.

According to Ahmad Syaugi Shahab, the General Manager of I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, explained that his company is committed to maintaining service and smooth airport operations.

Due to the positive trends in passenger and flight numbers, Syaugi is committed to improving, enhancing, and strengthening services for all passengers.

One method to achieve this objective is to lend support to the government’s initiative, specifically the implementation of the All-Indonesia international passenger arrival reporting system.

At present, 63% of I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport passengers are international. Therefore, we are collaborating with the Immigration Office, Customs and Excise, and the Health Quarantine Center to gradually implement the All-Indonesia system in August 2025, and since September 1st, it has been fully operational,” said Syaugi, quoted on Monday (August 9, 2025).

The All Indonesia reporting system streamlines the process of entering data and information on international passenger arrivals by requiring the use of a single application or website.

This approach enables streamlined and simplified operations, from data entry to verification, and facilitates more efficient processing of document checks at airports.

“We hope that these service improvements and enhancements will provide added value and a better experience for passengers,” Syaugi concluded. [sources/photo special]
