JEMBER-Jakarta flight ticket reservations will open offline and via WhatsApp starting Wednesday (October 9, 2025). Flights from Jember’s Notohadinegoro Airport to Jakarta’s Halim Perdanakusuma Airport and vice versa are scheduled to operate twice weekly using Fly Jaya.
Acting Head of the Jember Transportation Agency, Gatot Triyono, stated on Wednesday (October 9, 2025) that the inaugural flight will begin on September 18, 2025, from Jakarta to Jember. Flights will operate twice weekly, on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Flights from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport are scheduled to depart at 7:45 a.m. and arrive in Jember at 10:05 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB), while flights from Jember’s Notohadinegoro Airport will depart at 10:35 a.m. and arrive in Jakarta at 12:55 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB).
Gatot did not specify ticket prices, but they range from Rp 1.3 million to no more than Rp 1.4 million. Tickets can be purchased at Notohadinegoro Airport or via WhatsApp at 081385076053.
“Hopefully, they will be available for purchase on the marketplace next month. It’s still in process,” Gatot said.
He also apologized to the people of Jember for the cancellation of the flight, which was scheduled for September 10th.
“Due to the unfavorable national situation yesterday, thank God, with conditions returning to normal, all administrative and licensing processes have proceeded,” he said.
The Jember Regency Government hopes that the resumption of commercial flights at Notohadinegoro Airport will have a positive impact on the economy.
Gatot encouraged investors and tourists to come and join the Jember-Jakarta flight booking process.
He reported that four bookings had already been made this morning, with the potential for further growth, given the number of people visiting the booking counter at Notohadinegoro Airport.
“Hopefully, it’s sold out today. Let’s book our tickets today,” he said.
The Fly Jaya aircraft, with a capacity of 70 passengers, will make its inaugural landing in Jember during the soft launch of the reactivation of Notohadinegoro Airport on August 17, 2025. The Jember Regency Government had previously planned to open ticket reservations on September 5 and begin operating flights on September 10, 2025. [kompas.com/photo special]
