FINALLY, ARTOTEL GROUP AS AN OFFICIAL UNICEF PARTNER IN INDONESIA

ARTOTEL Group (AG) is pleased to announce its collaboration with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF). This collaboration was marked by the signing of a cooperation agreement on Tuesday, (10/21), 2025, at The Bimasena, Jakarta.

According to Eduard Rudolf Pangkerego, AG’s Chief Operating Officer, said the ARTOTEL Group is firmly committed to sustainable business practices and social responsibility, aligning with UNICEF’s principles of ensuring that every child can grow, develop, and reach their full potential.

“This collaboration focuses on the fields of health, nutrition, education, and child protection as a joint effort to create a better future for every child in Indonesia, regardless of background or ability,” he said.

Eduard emphasized that this collaboration was a significant achievement, providing considerable momentum for AG. This collaboration with an organization under the auspices of the United Nations (UN) followed a series of direct assessments of our corporate governance from UNICEF headquarters in New York. Notably, our company stands as the sole entity within the Indonesian hotel industry to have received this prestigious designation from UNICEF.

“This collaboration exemplifies AG’s unwavering dedication to environmental, social, and governance principles, aligning with the company’s sustainability program, The Art of Goodness. We believe that good business is business that provides benefits and has a real impact on society,” he concluded.

Meanwhile Ben Weatherley, Chief of Private Fundraising and Partnerships at UNICEF Indonesia, expressed his welcome of the partnership with ARTOTEL Group, stating that it exemplifies the private sector’s leadership in supporting children’s rights.

“We are collaborating with ARTOTEL Group to encourage other companies in Indonesia to invest in children’s futures, as every child deserves equal opportunities to grow and develop,” Weatherley stated.

AG is committed to inspiring its employees, guests, and partners to contribute to a significant movement that will positively impact the future of Indonesian children. According to the World Giving Index, Indonesia is regarded as the most generous country worldwide.

This spirit of generosity is also embodied by The Art of Goodness, which aims to provide kindness through the simplest and most effective means. In collaboration with UNICEF, AG aims to facilitate voluntary contributions to support UNICEF’s initiatives in Indonesia.

ARTOTEL Group and UNICEF are collaborating to create a symbol of hope and commitment, aiming to generate positive impacts through the hospitality industry. This initiative is part of a broader commitment to a better future for Indonesia, particularly in the context of the Indonesian tourism industry. [traveltext.id]
