TOURIST ENTHUSIASM: HOWLIDAY OPENS PRIVATE TRIP ROUTES TO SOUTH KOREA

SOUTH KOREA has consistently been an appealing tourist destination for Indonesian travelers seeking diverse experiences, ranging from cultural tours and urban exploration to culinary and seasonal excursions. The trend of travel to South Korea has continued to increase among Indonesian tourists in recent years.

According to data from the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO), 301,000 Indonesian tourists traveled to South Korea between January and October 2025.

This figure exceeded the 273,000 recorded for the same period in 2024. As the number of Indonesian tourists to South Korea continues to increase, interest in the concept of private trips is also growing, especially among travelers seeking a more personalized experience.

This phenomenon has been observed by several international travel service providers, including Howliday, which has recorded an increase in tourist demand for private trips to South Korea, particularly from participants who have previously taken private trips to other destinations such as Japan.

According to Howliday’s Chief Operating Officer, Miftakh, said many requests for private trips to South Korea come from participants who have previously taken private trips to Japan.

“They generally prefer a more relaxed, personalized trip that can be tailored to the needs of families, couples, or first-time travelers. This shift in travel preferences is indicative of a changing landscape in the industry,” he said.

He explained that, in line with these changing preferences, private trips to South Korea are now part of Howliday’s international travel service development. This route is a valuable addition to the range of available travel options, particularly for travelers seeking greater flexibility in their travel plans.

“As part of our ongoing service development, Howliday Travel is introducing a sister brand specifically for South Korea. This initiative aligns with the growing interest in this destination and the need for more focused services, in line with Howliday’s vision of providing relevant and reliable international travel services,” Miftakh concluded.

Howliday is a private travel service provider trusted by thousands of Indonesian travelers for international travel, particularly to Japan and Asia. With a focus on personalized service, flexible itineraries, and a comfortable travel experience, Howliday continues to innovate to meet the needs of modern travelers. [traveltext.id]
