THE LARGEST HOSPITALITY JOB FAIR (NHJF) OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUNG TALENT

INDONESIA’s hospitality, restaurant, and tourism sectors are gearing up for a major event designed to connect job seekers with employers. The National Hospitality Job Fair (NHJF) 2026 will take place from October 26 to 28, 2026, as a collaborative initiative between the Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association (PHRI) and the digital recruitment platform Goodtalenta.com.

The event also enjoys full support from the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism, underscoring its scale and credibility as the country’s largest hospitality job fair.

Centered on the theme “Connecting Talent, Elevating Hospitality,” NHJF 2026 is designed to be more than just a standard job fair; it serves as a comprehensive recruitment ecosystem targeting all segments of the workforce—ranging from tourism vocational high school (SMK) graduates, diploma and university graduates, and current students to fresh graduates and trainees looking to build careers in the hospitality industry.

The virtual component of the job fair will run for three full days—October 26 to 28, 2026—via the website nhjf2026.goodtalenta.com. Meanwhile, the in-person (on-site) event will be held over two days, October 27 and 28, 2026, at Chillax Sudirman, Jakarta.

This hybrid concept ensures that job seekers from all 38 Indonesian provinces can access the same opportunities without the barriers of distance or travel costs to Jakarta. The organizers aim to engage over 3,000 active job seekers and leverage a database of more than 10,000 hospitality talents for the event.

For those aspiring to a career in the accommodation sector—such as hotels, resorts, and villas—or in food and beverage—including restaurants, cafes, and catering—NHJF 2026 is an event worth marking on your calendar. Other participating sectors range from travel and tourism to entertainment and recreation, as well as meetings and events.

Notably, the event underscores a commitment to equal opportunities for every candidate, objective assessment and selection processes, and transparent recruitment. A wide range of career paths is offered, spanning from staff roles to management positions, complete with training and competency development for successful candidates. [traveltext.id/photo special]
