PANORAMA JTB Tours has entered into a partnership with visa service technology company SPUN Global—establishing a joint venture—to simplify visa processing for Indonesian travelers.
According to Andini Tirtawisata, Director of Panorama JTB Tours, said that this partnership is a strategic move to expand visa services in response to the growing need for pre-departure preparations among travelers.
“We recognize that the needs of Indonesian travelers go beyond just travel arrangements; they also encompass various requirements that must be addressed prior to departure. Therefore, we aim to strengthen these services by leveraging the technology and capabilities possessed by SPUN Global,” Andini said in a statement received in Jakarta on Tuesday (10/06), 2026.
This collaboration is realized through the formation of PT Solutopia Untuk Panorama, which integrates Panorama JTB Tours’ experience and network in the travel industry with SPUN Global’s technology—including artificial intelligence (AI)—to make the visa application process easier, more efficient, and fully integrated.
Through this collaboration, SPUN Global supports Panorama JTB Tours’ visa operations, covering everything from application intake, document checking and verification, and processing, to the final visa submission.
All these stages are integrated into a single system to reduce manual tasks and enable the company to handle visa requirements more consistently on a large scale.
This partnership comes amidst rising demand for international travel among Indonesians. Statistics Indonesia (BPS) recorded approximately 802,000 trips by Indonesian travelers in July 2026, a 4.68 percent increase compared to the previous month. SPUN Global currently supports over 400 visa types across more than 95 countries. The company also reports a 99% approval rate for applications processed through its platform.
Meanwhile, Christa Sabathaly, CEO and Co-Founder of SPUN Global, stated that the partnership with Panorama JTB Tours marks a significant step in deploying the company’s technology to support large-scale visa management operations.
“This model also opens up opportunities for us to collaborate with more travel companies—including those in other Southeast Asian markets—as we continue to strengthen SPUN’s consumer business,” said Christa.
Moving forward, Panorama JTB Tours and SPUN Global will continue to develop visa service solutions that are simpler, more accessible, and integrated with the travel needs of travelers from Indonesia. [antaranews]
