Soetta Airport to Provide Mobile Check-in Service at Terminal 1C

THE Soekarno-Hatta (Soetta) International Airport will provide mobile check-in service at Terminal 1C in a bid to cut off long queue during home-bound traveling ahead of Eid Holiday 2018.

According to Senior Manager of Branch Communication and Legal of Soekarno-Hatta Airport Erwin Revianto said PT Angkasa Pura II, state-owned operator of Soekarno-Hatta Airport, is committed to provide an optimum service during a high season of Eid Holiday.

“Traveling`s frequency will increase sharply, hence we are going to reduce its density by offering mobile check-in service to the passengers,” he said.

Revianto explained that the mobile check-in service is similar with self check-in that can be accessed by a passenger from their PC or mobile phone, while another one will be operated by some mobile customer service whom are equipped with some check-in gadget and portable printer.

“Those mobile customer service will stand by in foyer and curbside around Terminal 1C. They will be offering the passengers to check-in by their carry-on machine in a bid to avoid long queue and get faster process that conventional one,” he noted.

After registering a mobile check-in, those who do not have any baggage may continue to security check-in point and go to boarding lounge.

“But, for passengers who have baggages shall use self-baggage drop or some special dropping counter provided by airlines,” added Revianto. [antaranews]
