THE Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy hopes that the quality of events in Indonesia will continue to improve in order to attract tourists to visit the country.
According to Tourism and Creative Economy Minister Wishnutama Kusubandio said I want to improve this Cap Go Meh event, so that it becomes a special attraction. I as a minister continue to support and encourage events and in my opinion this is one of the most successful events.
Wishnutama also explained that the Bogor Street Festival CGM 2020 itself was included in the 100 National Calendar of Events of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy because the quality of the event was already good and had to be upgraded to international class.
“In the future, I hope that the content, arrangement and implementation will be much better. If possible, our participants will support it to be more colorful so that it creates its own differentiation compared to other events,” he said.
On the same occasion, West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil also hoped that the organizer of the event he had attended twice the better the following year. For this reason, the West Java Provincial Government supports a budget of IDR30 billion for infrastructure improvements on the Suryakencana road, which is the location of the Bogor Street Festival CGM 2020 event.
“The Provincial Government has given a budget of IDR30 billion as a form of support. So if I come again next year, there will already be significant improvements such as increased content, a better quality road atmosphere, and finally tourism will increase,” he said.
Ridwan Kamil hopes that the budget can be used for the allocation of repairs and makes Jalan Suryakencana the best road in the city of Bogor, as for example on Jalan Malioboro Yogyakarta or on Jalan Asia Afrika Bandung.
