TOURISM MINISTRY COLLABORATES MORE PARTNERS CAMPAIGNS #BELIKREATIFLOKAL

THE Ministry of Tourism & Creative Economy is collaborating with more partners to campaign the #BeliKreatifLokal movement. For this purpose, Tourism Misnistry agreed and signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with a number of partners as a form of activation of the #BeliKreatifLokal program support.

Tourism Ministry conducted a virtual MoU on Friday (05/29) witnessed by the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Wishnutama Kusubandio with various partners including Grab, Blue Bird, Bukalapak, Tokopedia, Shopee, and Legal Contracts.

The partners followed previous collaboration between Tourism Ministry and a number of parties including Blibli and Gojek who had already entered into an MoU.

According to Wishnutama Kusbandio, the Government has launched the national campaign #BanggaBuatanIndonesia which was inaugurated by President Joko Widodo on May 14, 2020. This is in line with the cooperation between Tourism Ministry and its partners.

“This is one of the activities to support the program. As a way to help the creative economy actors in the fashion, culinary and craft sub-sectors to rise again from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic,” he said.

With this cooperation, Wishnutama continued, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) entrepreneurs will be integrated with e-commerce. So that MSMEs are able to maintain sales turnover and product quality, as well as so that domestic-made products are able to compete with any product.

“In this pandemic era, we really see the role of digitalization for ecfrers as so important. So this program is expected to support the growth of MSMEs and support the nation’s economy,” he noted.

Meanwhile, Deputy of Marketing for the Ministry of Tourism, Nia Niscaya added, cooperation with tourism sector and creative economy business actors included co-branding, distribution of product sales through an online transportation platform and integrated marketplace, legal advisory assistance for the establishment of legal entities and the management of IPR certification, and other things online which are activated from June to December 2020.

“For this reason, people are asked to work hand in hand to become heroes for local products by contributing to the #BeliKreatiflokal and #BanggaBuatanIndonesia program,” she said.

Nia affirmed that through this #BeliKreatifLokal program, creative economy players will get an integrated e-commerce channel optimization that focuses on increasing turnover, providing online assistance, and supported by practitioners and mentors who are experienced in their fields. E-commerce assistance facilities include, promotion, image/motion content creation to drive sales, to program counseling. [traveltext.id]
