“The progress of the tourism village must involve the community and of course open the widest possible job opportunities for people in the tourism village itself. Furthermore, super priority destinations in Labuan Bajo must also be able to be present to empower the community and tourism villages are a very relevant concept to move the people’s economy,” he said.
He also added that there is a need for additional development in the villages visited in support of the tourist villages, starting from the animal pop dance to which local wisdom is added.
“For the animal pop commodity, I suggest more local wisdom then later I will invite it to appear at Monas,” he noted.
In addition, Sandiaga Uno also intends to map the economic potential of Labuan Bajo as one of the Super Priority Tourism Destinations (DPSP). [traveltext/photo special]
