BATIK AIR PREPARES NEW DOMESTIC ROUTE FOR JAKARTA-TANJUNG PINANG

BATIK Air, a member airline of Lion Air Group, will launch a new route from Jakarta to Tanjung Pinang via Soekarno-Hatta Airport with a frequency of seven times per week.

According to Corporate Communications Strategic of Batik Air Danang M. Prihantoro said the aircraft with flight number ID-6824 will fly the route starting March 18, 2021. The price offered for one way starts from IDR616,900 from Jakarta, while for the first flight service from Tanjung. Areca nuts are one-way trips the next day with prices starting at IDR591,900.

“Air travel from Jakarta to Tanjung Pinang and Tanjung Pinang to Jakarta, respectively, takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes,” Danang said in his press release.

It is said, Batik Air provides a full service concept (premium service airlines) of the routes that have been running, including free 20kg baggage for economy class guests. All Batik Air operations continue to prioritize safety, security, comfort and are carried out according to the health protocol guidelines.

He said Batik Air will prepare and operate a fleet of the latest generation Airbus 320-200 (with a capacity of 12 business class seats and 144 economy class seats) and Boeing 737-800NG (12 business class and 150 economy class seats).

Danang explained that the new route will strengthen Batik Air’s services in the Riau Islands and Jakarta, which are expected to increasingly provide air travel options for passengers directly connected to each other in line with accommodating market demand in both cities and responding to the trend of interest in traveling using aircraft because flying is safe.
