THE Garuda Indonesia airline prepares a new Ambon-Denpasar route which is planned to open from 20 December 2019.
According to the Ambon branch of Garuda Sales and Marketing Manager, Valentri Akila Rurambi in Ambon said that according to the plan we will open a new Ambon-Denpasar route which is planned to start December 20, 2019. The opening of this new route is currently in the process because there are still operational technical obstacles.
“If it is official, we will convey it to the public, because according to the plan it will be done on December 20. The opening of the Ambon-Denpasar route is a request from the Maluku Provincial Government, to increase domestic and foreign tourist visits,” Valentri said.
It is said, the opening of the direct route has the support of the Maluku Provincial Government, we see this as a promising potential so we will open the Ambon-Denpasar direct route. This new route was opened after evaluating that this route is a favorite for customers so it is possible to do direct flights.
“In addition to opening a new route, it will also reopen the Ambon-Manado route via Ternate. This route uses the ATR 72-600 Explore aircraft with a seating capacity for 70 passengers,” told Valentri Rurambi.
