FROM CORONA OUTBREAK TO FLOOD, INSPIRING ARIEL ARKA’S ‘KEMELUT’ FASHION

FASHION designer Ariy Arka presents a series of fashion collections inspired by the chaotic, miserable, chaotic and messy nature and environment conditions, namely the corona virus to the floods that hit Jakarta.

“Now many do not care about the environment, one of the causes of many disasters is human activity,” Ariy said before the fashion show in Jakarta recently.

He expressed his anxiety and irregularity in the work titled ‘Kemelut’ for the label Abee. The ‘Kemelut’ collection was presented by Fashion Rhapsody: Harmony of the Earth at The Tribrata, Jakarta, where Ariy was one of the initiators of an environmental-themed event.

The runway looks more beautiful with a variety of decorative plants on the edges and middle. The models that represent “chaos” through their clothes walk with high intensity. As they walked, their hands reached for the plant being passed, uprooting and destroying it. Just like natural disasters and calamities that ransacked the earth. [special photo]
