THERE is something new at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) automotive exhibition next year. The largest automotive exhibition in Indonesia will be held in a hybrid manner, which is an automotive exhibition that combines online and offline.
According to President Director of PT Dyandra Promosindo Hendra Noor Saleh said Dyandta will plan the 2021 Indonesian International Motor Show (IIMS) automotive exhibition at the beginning of the year, February 18-28, 2021.
“To anticipate relating to the COVID-19 pandemic, we will roll it out hybridly. IIMS 2021 is also planned to be held with several changes, namely by promoting health protocols,” he said.
He added, what is important is that our health protocol is doing well. We also encourage digital ticketing, no on-site sales, etc. In addition to tickets, as an event organizer it will also arrange program schedules from the community and brand holder agents (APM) not to pile up on Saturdays and Sundays only.
“We also want to hold a live exhibition of IIMS on several channels. With the change in the system and this event, Dyandra hopes that no big crowd will gather in one day in one place, for the safety of visitors,” Hendra noted.
He also explained, besides having live, IIMS participants could do promos via e-commerce and digital platforms without having to go to location. The next IIMS exhibition is expected to be a revival of the automotive industry in the new normal period. Dyandya will continue to provide support in the automotive industry with real ecosystem support and not from ordinary means.
“Just to remind, IIMS 2020 automotive exhibitions in Jakarta and Makassar have been canceled. However, IIMS 2020 which will be held in Surabaya in November is still on the schedule determined,” he concluded. [sources/photo special]
