FORMER Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy in the Indonesia Maju Cabinet Wishnutama Kusubandrio advised the new Tourism Minister Sandiaga Uno.
Wishnutama, in an online live broadcast witnessed in Jakarta, Tuesday (22/12), said that complying with health protocols is an absolute requirement that must be carried out in the tourism sector.
“But indeed the absolute requirement at this time is to carry out the health protocol as well as possible. Without it, it will be hard for the tourism sector to rise again,” Wishnutama said in a live broadcast entitled ‘Live! Virtual Talk: Wishnutama Shares Creative Tips for Marketing MSME Products’.
Sometime after that, the live broadcast was stopped. This is because President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) officially announced the change of position of Minister of Tourism & Creative Economy, from Wishnutama to Sandiaga Uno.
Wishnutama seemed grateful for the appointment. In the @wishnutama Instagram account, the former television station boss congratulated Sandiaga by uploading their “selfie” photo accompanied by a caption linked to the @sandiuno Instagram account.
“Thanks God, brother @sandiuno has been chosen to replace me to become Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy. Congratulations, bro @sandiuno, I hope you will always be healthy,” said Wishnutama.
