MINISTER of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno asked for the handicrafts produced by craftsmen in Sukarara Village, Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) to decorate the prestigious MotoGP race at the Mandalika circuit in 2021.
“I have been assigned by the President, before MotoGP, there will be an event every week, every month there will still be an event,” said Sandiaga Uno while reviewing crafts in Sukarara Village, Jonggat District, Central Lombok Regency.
According to him, tourism must be able to break the chain of unemployment, it must be able to minimize poverty. Not only tourism, creative economy and environmental sustainability must be driven by the community.
Sandiaga explained that therefore, in the future, I urged the public to rise up, handicraft products must continue to increase. It all must be realized together, I arrival to NTB is not only to visit handicrafts, but as a manifestation of making Indonesia a developed country and its people prosper.
“President Jokowi has given me directions, one of the President’s directives is to make the MotoGP event a success. The Ministry of Tourism, apart from the success of MotoGP, will certainly hold major events before MotoGP.
