COMPLY WITH REGULATIONS TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS DURING IDUL FITRI HOLIDAYS

INDONESIA’S Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, reviewed several tourist destinations in DKI Jakarta to ensure the implementation of health protocols in tourist destinations during the Idul Fitri holidays. Sandiaga Uno conducted a survey by cycling from the Sapta Pesona Building across the Kota Tua Tourist Area to finish in the Ancol Jakarta area.

The review was carried out in relation to regulations on limiting the capacity of tourist destinations in various areas, one of which is DKI Jakarta with the issuance of the DKI Jakarta Governor’s Call Number 5 of 2021 concerning Control of Community Activities in Preventing the Spread of COVID-19. This regulation limits the number of visitors to tourist attractions in DKI Jakarta to a maximum of 30% during the Idul Fitri holidays on May 12-16, 2021.

“The public is urged to comply with government regulations not to go home and if tourist attractions in the area are opened, then take the time to apply strict and disciplined protocols, and obey the rules of the local government and the COVID-19 Task Force, to travel safely and with discipline,” he said.

Sandiaga saw firsthand the procedure and flow of carrying capacity arrangements in the Ancol area which was done digitally. The number of tourists who want to travel is limited to only 30% of the carrying capacity. And you have to register online before visiting.

“I reviewed several locations in Ancol. The application of the number of visitors of 30% has been strictly and disciplined. It can be seen that to enter the Ancol area, you have to order online and register online and have to show your DKI ID card. After entering, we will see the application. 3M is guarded, there are also testing facilities that use genose,” he concluded. [traveltext.id]
