THE Nusa Dua area in Badung Regency, Bali, which is managed by PT Indonesia Tourism Development/Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) is ready to be the location for holding Meeting, Incentive, Convention, Exhibition (MICE).

According to The Nusa Dua Managing Director I Gusti Ngurah Ardita, in Bali, Monday (6/14) said The Nusa Dua is ready to be the location for various MICE activities considering that the area and tenants in the area have been certified for Cleanliness, Health, Safety and Environmental Sustainability (CHSE). and workers within the area have also completed a vaccination programme.

“The Nusa Dua tourism area has complete accommodation of more than five thousand hotel rooms and Meeting, Incentive, Convention, Exhibition (MICE) facilities that can accommodate more than 20 thousand delegates. We are also committed to continuing to strictly implement the CHSE protocol to ensure that MICE activities are comfortable and safe from COVID-19 transmission,” he said

On June 10-11, 2021, The Nusa Dua area also hosted the 2021 ‘Bali and Beyond Travel Fair’ (BBTF) which was attended by 145 sellers from 14 provinces in Indonesia, 135 buyers from Bali and its surroundings, and 57 international buyers. from 20 countries.

Ngurah Ardita explained, as the manager of The Nusa Dua, his party is grateful that the 2021 BBTF can run smoothly and safely. I hope that the implementation of BBTF 2021 can also be a model for the safe and comfortable implementation of MICE activities in the new adaptation period.

In addition to being the host, on that occasion ITDC also participated as a sponsor and seller by promoting tourism destinations that were developed including The Nusa Dua and The Mandalika.

“We hope that with ITDC’s participation in this event, the destinations we manage can become the prima donna of business and tourism destinations for the national and international markets as an effort to encourage the recovery of Bali and national tourism after the COVID-19 pandemic,” he concluded.
