BOLOGNA AIRPORT PRESENTS LAMBORGHINI HURACANE EVO TO WELCOME GUESTS

ITALIAN automotive manufacturer, Lamborghini officially cooperates with Bologna airport, Italy as a guide car for planes that will depart until the plane that will land.

This Lamborghini Huracane Evo is used as a vehicle that reads ‘Follow Me’ and can be an interesting sight for airport visitors who are stopping to continue their journey.

Quoted from CarsCoops, Friday (6/25), the Huracán Evo will guide the arrival and departure of aircraft around the airport until January 7, 2022. Despite having a relatively short service life, the car has been equipped with a special livery designed by Lamborghini Centro Stile.

The vehicle features an Arancione (Orange) Matte accent, ‘reminiscent of a vehicle operating in aircraft maneuvering areas,’ which contrasts the Turbine Matte Verde (Green) body.

The Huracán Evo also features a roof-mounted light bar and a ‘Follow Me in Our Beautiful Country’ badge. Furthermore, the vehicle has been equipped with a radio that allows the driver to communicate with the control tower.

Like the standard model, the Follow Me has a 5.2-liter V10 engine that produces 631 hp (470 kW/640 PS) and 443 lb-ft (600 Nm) of torque. It is connected to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, which sends power to the all-wheel drive system.

This allows the Huracán Evo to accelerate from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 2.9 seconds, before reaching a top speed of over 202 mph (325 km/h). [antaranews/photo special]
