THE Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy appreciates and fully supports the Waste Processing Technology at the Source (TOSS) program to become the raw material for populist energy in Ende Regency, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), which is expected to help realize quality and sustainable tourism.
The realization of TOSS in Ende Regency will be a solution to the waste problem in Ende which is dominated by biomass waste such as leaves, twigs, grass, plantation waste, agricultural waste, and other organic waste. Products from processed TOSS will be used as raw material for co-firing at PLTU Ropa, can also be used as household fuel where the Ende community previously used a lot of kerosene and firewood.
