DODGE is reportedly in the preparation period to launch an environmentally friendly concept vehicle in 2022.
According to Dodge’s Chief Executive, Tim Kuniskis said the company wanted to capture the attention of new Dodge customers while also maintaining the company’s existing fan base.
“We hope to attract consumers with different types, and retain the customers we have today.That’s very important to us, and that’s why we want to put out our concept car next year and explain to people what we’re going to do,” said Kuniskis, quoted from CarsCoops, Tuesday (8/24).
However, this company still does not want to provide a more detailed description of the environmentally friendly concept vehicle.
Even so, Dodge can use the concept vehicle to gauge customer interest in the car and, if needed, make some changes to its eventual production model for the muscle vehicle that will arrive in 2024.
Kuniskis added that Stellantis chief executive Carlos Tavares fully supports the brand’s electric muscle cars.
“Carlos Tavares is a very, very intelligent man, and he said this was very, very unexpected. Let’s really shock the world, we are serious about this,” he concluded. [antaranews]
