SUPER Air Jet, an airline that was only established in March 2021, opens the Jakarta-Palembang-Jakarta flight route with fares starting from IDR367.000 for a single trip.
According to the President Director of Super Air Jet, Ari Azhari said, Super Air Jet deliberately made this route because he considered Palembang to be the most crowded route.
“The Jakarta-Palembang-Jakarta route is known as one of the busiest routes with market trends for the young or millennial category that continues to grow. Palembang is also the third favorite destination after Medan and Batam,” said Ari Azhari in his official statement, Sunday (9/19).
He explained, the view in the city of Palembang is like Venice with the instagramable spots of the Musi River flowing around the city. Ampera Bridge will shine brightly at night like Venice at night.
“Super Air Jet really wants to understand the needs of aviation in responding to the challenges of today’s market. Therefore, the inaugural flight from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (CGK) to Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II International Airport (PLM) is considered very appropriate,” he remarked.
He added that the travel time from Jakarta to Palembang and Palembang to Jakarta was relatively short, only about 55 minutes. This, according to him, is able to add to the exciting experience of flying in a new era.
Not only that, the creative industry and Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are also growing in Palembang, including the very famous songket “craftmanship” which continues to be maintained. The job of making songket is an endeavor for the native people of Palembang.
