LUHUT: NGURAH RAI AIRPORT OPENS FOR INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS FROM OCT 14

THE COORDINATING Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment as well as the Coordinator of the Java-Bali PPKM Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan said Ngurah Rai Airport, Bali, will be opened for international arrivals on October 14, 2021.

“Ngurah Rai Airport, Bali, will open internationally on October 14, 2021 as long as it fulfills the terms and conditions regarding quarantine, testing, and the readiness of the task force,” said Coordinating Minister Luhut Pandjaitan at a press conference on the development of implementation of restrictions on community activities (PPKM) which was monitored online from Jakarta, Monday (10/4).

Minister Luhut revealed that the main requirement for passengers from abroad is to have proof of hotel bookings for quarantine for 8 days at their own expense.

“Every international arriving passenger must have proof of booking a hotel for a minimum 8-day quarantine at their own expense,” Coordinating Minister Luhut stated.

The Indonesian government itself requires international travelers from abroad to be fully vaccinated, perform three PCR tests, and quarantine for 8 days.

“The countries that we will open will consist of several countries, such as South Korea, China, Japan, Abu Dhabi (UAE), Dubai, and also New Zealand,” Minister Luhut Pandjaitan concluded. [traveltext.id/photo special]
