THE MINISTRY of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) has appointed the board of directors and commissioners of PT Aviasi Wisata Indonesia.
Through the Decree of the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises as the General Meeting of Shareholders of the Company PT Aviasi Wisata Indonesia Number: SK-336/MBU/10/2021, it was determined that the board of directors of PT Aviasi Wisata Indonesia were: President Director, Dony Oskaria, Deputy President Director, Edwin Hidayat Abdullah and HR and Digital Director, Herdy Rosadi Harman
Meanwhile, through Decree Number SK-337/MBU/10/2021, the commissioners of PT Aviasi Wisata Indonesia were determined to be: President Commissioner concurrently Independent Commissioner, Triawan Munaf, Commissioner, Odo Manuhutu, Commissioner, Wihana Kirana Jaya, Independent Commissioner, Elwin Mok.
Acting Assistant Deputy for Tourism and Supporting Services at the Ministry of SOEs Endra Gunawan said the appointment of the board of directors and commissioners of PT Aviasi Wisata Indonesia was one of the milestones in the process of establishing the Tourism and Supporting BUMN Holding.
“PT Aviasi Wisata Indonesia will be the leader of the Tourism and Supporting BUMN Holding which is an ecosystem holding to integrate various functions in supporting the tourism sector. Today, the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises has appointed the Board of Directors and the Board of Commissioners of PT Aviasi Wisata Indonesia who have the expertise, ability, and experience to be able to revive and optimize the tourism sector which has an important role in the national economy,” he said.
Endra Gunawan explained that the existence of PT Aviasi Wisata Indonesia as a holding leader would be beneficial for all actors in the tourism sector. Holding is the driving force for the tourism sector in order to have a positive impact on business players.
For the first stage, PT Aviasi Wisata Indonesia (Persero) became the leader of the Tourism and Supporting BUMN Holding consisting of PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero), PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero), PT Hotel Indonesia Natour (Persero), PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan and Ratu Boko (Persero), and PT Sarinah (Persero).
