THE GOVERNMENT finally has relaxed the conditions for traveling by plane. There will be changes in the journey, namely the Java-Bali area, air travel no longer has to use a PCR test, but only an antigen test. The same applies to non-Bali areas outside Java.
According to Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture, Muhadjir Effendy in the implementation of restrictions on community activities (PPKM) Evaluation press conference on Youtube the Presidential Secretariat, Monday (1/11) said that there were changes to the travel rules. Air travel to Bali that is not required for a PCR test, it is enough to use an antigen test.
“For Java-Bali, air travel no longer has to be PCR, but it is enough to use the same antigen as has been done in non-Bali areas outside Java in accordance with the proposal from the Minister of Home Affairs,” he said.
Muhadjir added that vaccination will be accelerated with a second dose target of above 60% in December 2021. That currently there is a decline in transmission, but there are about 131 districts or cities experiencing an upward trend, in addition to several districts or cities experiencing a decline.
“Although the decline in COVID-19 cases has been good, the public also continues to be vigilant, such as maintaining health protocols to prevent transmission and detection on domestic and international travel. In addition, during the Christmas and New Year periods, the relevant ministries and institutions will update the necessary rules to prevent the transmission of Covid-19,” he said.
