JAKARTA TOURISINDO HOLDS JIF 2021 INVESTOR COMMUNICATIONS FORUM

REGIONAL-Owned Enterprises (BUMD) engaged in the tourism, hospitality and creative economy sectors, the Jakarta Experience Board (PT Jakarta Tourisindo) will hold the 2021 Jakarta Investment Forum (JIF) as a communication forum that brings together potential investors and project owners on November 11-12, 2021.

Jakarta Tourisindo collaborates with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government through the One Stop Service Investment Agency (DPMPTSP) to showcase a variety of projects from various sectors. They will invite potential investors with project owners to be involved in the development phase of Jakarta.

The Jakarta Investment Forum will facilitate every investor in the Networking Session which can be accessed by registering through the www.jakartainvestmentforum.com page, said Jakarta Tourisindo’s press statement, Saturday.

One of the projects in the transportation sector is the Kelapa Gading-Jakarta International Stadium LRT and the construction of the MRT Phase 4 which is a priority for DKI Jakarta.

The expansion of the LRT and MRT coverage areas can open up opportunities to make this transportation more accessible to all levels of society, facilitate mobilization and is expected to reduce the number of private vehicle use.

The development of the city of Jakarta in a more sustainable direction also needs to be supported by the existence of waste treatment facilities. Climate change as a 21st century challenge is a problem that needs to be addressed with a long process starting with waste treatment.

Jakarta is trying to build various infrastructures such as the Bantar Gebang Intermediate Treatment Facility project and the Bantar Gebang Refuse Derived Fuel Project. The facility is expected to be able to solve the waste problem in Jakarta by sorting waste and turning it into usable fuel.

In addition to these projects, each investor has the opportunity to see in more detail each project of interest, and participate in the JIF Plenary Discussion and Meet the Leaders.

“It is hoped that JIF can be used as a collaboration and communication platform for the smooth development of Jakarta as a developed, sustainable and cultured city,” they wrote. [antaranews/photo special]
